1. Scope and purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how data is processed when you use the SnipeRadar mobile application (iOS) and its related services. We respect user privacy and process data only to the extent necessary to operate the app.

2. Data we process

When you use the app, we may process the following categories of data:

2.1. Device Identifier (Device ID)

The app sends a device/installation identifier (Device ID) to our API in order to:

  • provide and maintain core app functionality,
  • enable access to app features,
  • protect service security and integrity (e.g., prevent abuse).

2.2. Subscription / Purchase information (Purchase History)

The app offers Apple In-App Purchase subscriptions. To grant or maintain access to “Pro” features, we may process subscription status information (e.g., active/inactive) and transaction/purchase identifiers to the extent needed to validate and provide access.

We do not process payment card details or bank account numbers — payments are handled by Apple.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data for the following purposes:

  • Providing the service and app functionality (including API operation and “Pro” access) — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b),
  • Security and fraud/abuse prevention — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f),
  • Legal obligations (e.g., accounting/recordkeeping where applicable) — GDPR Art. 6(1)(c).

4. Advertising and tracking

No.

We do not use user data for:

  • third-party advertising,
  • tracking-based marketing,
  • linking your data with third-party data for advertising purposes,
  • sharing data with data brokers.

The app does not display ads and does not use data for tracking as defined by Apple.

5. Data recipients

Data may be shared with:

  • IT/hosting/infrastructure providers strictly as needed to operate the API and services,
  • Apple for payment and subscription processing (Apple acts as a separate entity for payment processing).

We do not sell user data.

6. Data retention

We keep data only as long as necessary to:

  • provide the service and keep the app working,
  • maintain security and accountability,
  • comply with legal requirements (where applicable).

In practice, Device ID and subscription status may be stored during active app use and for a reasonable period afterward for security and recordkeeping.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you may have the right to:

  • access your data,
  • rectify your data,
  • delete your data,
  • restrict processing,
  • object to processing,
  • data portability (where applicable),
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact: data@sniperadar.com.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, including safeguards for transmission and access.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is available on SnipeRadar.com.
