CRYPTO ALERTS GUIDE

Crypto alerts vs crypto signals: what’s the difference?

The two terms are often used together, but they describe different products. An alert reports that an event happened or is scheduled. A trading signal interprets market conditions and suggests a possible action.

Crypto tools use the word “alert” for many different triggers: a price crossing a threshold, breaking news, unusual wallet activity or a new exchange listing. The notification tells the user that a defined event has occurred. It does not necessarily say what to do next.

What is a crypto signal?

A crypto trading signal normally goes further. It may propose a direction, entry price, target or stop-loss based on technical, fundamental or other analysis. The user is therefore likely to interpret it as a trading opinion rather than a neutral event notification.

How SnipeRadar is different

SnipeRadar provides crypto alerts focused on new exchange listing events. It organizes supported Spot and Futures announcements, scheduled UTC times, trading pairs, official source links and timing context. It does not issue buy or sell calls, execute orders or connect to an exchange account.

Where Radar Score fits

Radar Score is an automated informational indicator designed to help users compare and prioritize newly detected listing events. It summarizes event context using data analyzed by SnipeRadar. It does not estimate a token’s intrinsic value, guarantee liquidity or forecast a return.

That makes Radar Score different from both a raw announcement and a trading signal. It adds a consistent layer of event assessment, while leaving the trading decision entirely with the user.

COMPARE THE TOOLS

Alert, score and signal compared

Crypto listing alert

Reports a supported exchange listing event and its timing. It contains no trade instruction.

Radar Score

Helps compare the relative context of listing events. It is not a buy or sell recommendation.

Trading signal

Suggests a possible market action, often with entry or exit levels, and may be interpreted as a trading call.

Price alert

Reports that a selected price threshold was crossed. User-defined price alerts are not currently a SnipeRadar feature.

CHECK BEFORE ACTING

Questions to ask about any listing

Check the official exchange announcement, confirm whether the market is Spot or Futures, compare scheduled opening times, review liquidity and remember that listings can be delayed, changed or cancelled. No alert or score removes market risk.
